Xenoblade Chronicles X - $19.75 pre-order....?

Repost of a thread I started with an ambiguous title.

I was looking at my xenoblade x pre-order because I'm kind of scraping thin this month and I wanted to make sure I could afford it - and I noticed something.. peculiar about the price tag. I got the e3 discount so I got 30% off of the full price, but this is..... a lot more than 30%

Is it possible that Amazon's system completely fucked up and sold me the game for $20? Or am I still gonna get billed for the normal price + 30% off when it comes out? Because holy shit....

@mand0n: $20 Canadian? Once you pay in full, Amazon can't charge you more...

Well they charge me when it ships. I'm just curious if they can charge me the normal price rather than the $20 when the time comes.

Would be messed up if they charge you more, usually i think they only adjust down. I would keep a screenshot on hand and if they do i would contact support about it.

@mesome713: Can something like that be photoshopped? Or is there a conclusive, unalterable form of proof I can attain?

@mand0n: Not sure, but im sure Amazon would know if photoshopped or not. Just take a screen shop of the whole page with as much info as you can.

Looks like I can download an invoice straight from Amazon. I guess that settles it.. I'm getting Xenoblade X for $20. :B It's been a lucky year for me.. first I got Arkham Knight and MGSV for free and now this...

What's this E3 discount you speak of?

If you reserve it for that price, they have to honor it.

@garywood69: During e3 if you pre-ordered 3 games at once you could get 30% off your order.

@YearoftheSnake5: That's just the thing though.. I didn't reserve it for that price, the price somehow glitched out and changed after I cancelled one of the orders attached to it, or maybe just out of the blue.. I can't pinpoint when it happened, but it wasn't during checkout. Do they still have to honour it under these circumstances, or can they just say, "Oh sorry sir there was a glitch in the system but we changed it back to it's proper price. If you aren't satisfied with the price, I can cancel the order and you can buy it at a later date" or some stupid customer service bs?

@Collie_Lover: I hope so too. I've had a very lucky year so far when it comes to game bargains. [MGSV and Arkham Knight for free baby~] so this would really top it off nicely.

Amazon just billed me for $22 and shipped Xenoblade.

I paid to have the game at my house the day it is released, then looked at tracking and it was going to be here the next Monday. Super upset as anyone would be anticipating this game. I emailed amazon and they refunded my 2 day shipping price and told me that they guaranteed it would be here the 4th. Looked at shipping tracker later that day and it was back on track for the 4th. I wonder if they can sort shipping out when it is already set in motion.

I told them that I only wanted the shipping refund if it came in late, but they gave it to me anyway on first reply. Maybe they can intercept a shipment at extra expense to them, to get it back on track. Seems to far fetched for a $60 video game. I dont have to be upset over the weekend anymore though.
