Yet another idea. And once again, tell me if it's already made or not.

Alright. Remember for the Game Boy Advance, there were those Video cartridge things, like Nick and Cartoon Network shows and stuff? Well, wouldn't it be cool if there were those for the DS, but like anime and other shows? Like Scrubs? Haha. I love Scrubs.

On the anime ones, you could choose wether it's in English or Japanese subtitled. I mean, they probably couldn't fit an ENTIRE series on one cartridge, but at least a few episodes.....

Yes, I realize there's DVDs for this purpose, but I still think it would be really cool if they existed... I can't afford to buy a bunch of DVDs, so I think it would be nice just to be able to watch a few episodes. And, please don't make fun of me for this. I actually remembered that anime DVDs existed while I was typing this topic. I'm a blonde, leave me alone. T_T But, still...please tell me what you think... I need to not feel stupid having said this. Ugh.

No, it's not a good idea. In spirit it is but not in the money mkaing world.

No one wants to go out and have to buy a copy of a something they already own just so they can watch it on a new device. I wont name names but there's another handheld who tried that and it was pretty much awful. No one is willing to buy doubles of anything AND if they're going to buy it only once they usually pick the better screen to see it on (TV > DS)

don't try to put her down jayson.. that actually is a kind of good idea if your in the backseat of a car on a roadtrip and not in the mood for playin games.. although u can do this with something (not naming anything) still.. i prolly wouldn't pay $15 bucks for it tho.. it is a good idea, just not good enough to make it to the market.. they already tried it with the GBA.. but if it wasw with anime, that would turn things around for a lot of people.. like me!! i watch bunches of anime and thats a very good idea of having anime on it.. i would have never thought of it actually..

Saying something isn't a good idea isn't putting someone down as long as you do it while still showing respect.

Like I said, the spirit of the idea is good but it's already been proven that it just doesn't sell. No one buys doubles and when they only buy it once they pick another device to watch it.

I think the Video iPod has that covered. If not, there's still the PSP and some cellphones that play mp4 format. But if I was going to watch anything, I'd like it to be on larger than 4" screen, plus videos on hand held devices drain the battery life uber fast..
