I'm sure a large portion of people asking for the Kid Icarus game has never played the original, but Brawl showcased Pit as a really interesting character, so people want to see what he can do in a full game of his own, with current technology. I mean Nintendo has good track record with transitioning its old 2D franchises to 3D. Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime, Mario Kart 64.

Why do people think there's going to be a Mario Galaxy 2? Galaxy 1 was great, but a second would ruin the idea. Besides, what's the point of a sequel? What's there to continue? It be boring as heck. Also, where do people get the idea of that even happening?
