what is your favorite game ending

on wii: super mario galaxy, because it had 360 quality grafics for the final movie

on handheld: megaman zero 4, epic, what else can i say

On the Wii? Well Zelda Twilight Princess cause I only own it

But my favorite ending of all was in Baten Kaitos Origins on the GC

Tales of Symphonia? Nah, that left me with too many questions.

IDK I don't really have a favorite ending, it's hard to decide.

For the Wii? I would have to go with Metroid Prime 3. *SPOILERS*

I just like it when Samus is sitting there on Elysia and remembering all the fights she went through... awesome awesome!

it gives that awesome epic feeling

although the most epic part of that game wasn't the ending it was the jousting match on the bridge. Best moment in any video game of all time for me

Mine would probably be kingdom hearts one or two, they were both awesome!

I think mine would have to be Halo. The first one. The final level was insane, I played it I dont know how many times. Plus the giant Halo ring breaking apart was such an incredible feeling.

I probably would've said Ocarina of Time, but a lot of people already said that, and I didn't wanna sound cliche. But that ending video was awesome, and shutting Ganondorf in the void was a really satisfying feeling.

My least favorite ending is definitely Super Paper Mario. What crap. The game was awesome, and the endings of Paper Mario 1 & 2 were both fantastic. Needless to say, expectations were high, but the story dragged on far too long and the ending was too lame after having to sit through all that text. It was a good game, but a very disappointing ending.

Mother 3 was the only game recently that I needed to see.

It was spectacular, but in Japanese.

I have to say Super Mario 64. It was quite possibly the first game I ever beat, and the music that follows is simply the greatest melody I have ever heard in my life. I'm not sure if it is because of the music itself, or if it is the reward I got for defeating one of the greatest games ever made. But either way, that was my favorite ending.Meleeboy

that. but you never know with kingdom hearts. it looked like it ended on the ending of KH1 but then there were enormous plot twists for the 2 so i don't know whether to consider it and "ending"

I finished the good ending. Very Star Wars like with the space battle,Darth Malak's death, the destruction of the Star Forge, and your dramatic last second escape.

RE4 had a good ending but my most memorable ending must have been OOt lol

I agree with many of the choices so far but just to pick a different game I'd have to say the ending for Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for PS1. Getting to choose either to die and save the world or Live and rule it in its ruin.

Portal, ftw! No one can beat the end credits song "... and I am still alive!" Classic. Laughed so hard my stomach hurt!

Portal was easily the best! Ijust downloaded that song and put it on mymp3 player :P .But my other favorite was *puts on fireman's suit* ... Kane any Lynch. I liked the way *spoilers* they killed Jenny without using a cutscene. It really made you feel like a jack*** for letting her die, however if you want her to live you have to kill all your men, so you feel like a jerk either way.*end spoilers*

It's been a while since I beat a game :P . There are proberly better I just can't remember them.

The Phoenix Wright Series wrapped up perfectly in my opinion, can't wait for Apollo Justice.

I've loved lots of endings, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime but, any time I think about how a game ended, the first thing that comes to mind is Shadow of the Colossus. I don't know why, I've enjoed endings, I just loved SotC.

*Major spoilers ahead*

I think that part of the reason is that, througout the game, I thought each colossus would be where the game began to fall. "There is NO WAY the next colossus can beat the one I just fought" was how I was thinking. Of course, each fight, I was proven wrong. When it came time for the finale, I was absolutely positive I would be let down. Then, as Agro fell, yet I traveled forward, and when I saw my foe, my jaw dropped. As I slowly approached the beast, rain pouring, ground shaking, I was simply blown away. As I crawled on it's hand like some sort of insect, and finally conquered the beat. The whole experience was breathtaking to say the least. Then, after all that, the game leaves off as your character becomes a colossus, and you take down your mysterious pursuers.

More games need to end like that.

Everyone will probably make fun of me, but I will never forget Ocarina's ending.

After an unforgettable final boss fight, the fairy left Link. He then goes back to see Zelda and the screen fades to "The End." It was so sad!
