Your reactions when you first got the Wii! Lets share stories here!

I got mine on launch date :D, but I had to wait in front of best buy 10 hours beforehand, I had 2 rockstars, a manly sandwich, my DS, Mario Kart and FF III, and a sleeping bag. I was so happy I was in line for it, at one point I saw this guy offering the wii, for $300, but I was so tired I though he was offering "weed" for $3.00. I didnt bother asking. Anyways When I was in the store, I immediataley rushed to the Wii section, picked up Zelda, a 1GB SD card, then went to the casher, where the wii was. And there it was I was a proud owner of the new Nintendo Wii! I was so happy! I felt like the Nintendo 64 kid!

Now lets see some wii stories :P

I got mine about a month and a half ago. I was laughing my end off because my mom and I had gotten up at 5 am and waited till 7 am for one and no one even lined up until 6:45! Not only that, but they had over 10 consoles shipped in that week! We were a little mad, but the weeks before, they had flown out of the store before I even made my calls in to ask!

Also, to add fire on fire, my sister had walked in and purchased one of the last 5 an hour later, lmao! Don't know why they didn't go faster that day. The manager was even scratching his head when he saw he didn't need the lottery tickets.

But, I'm glad I have it now. It's an awesome system and was well worth the wait!

I waited in the blistering cold for 8 hours, and they just said no. But all jokes aside...I did wait in line for 8 hours launch night. When I finally got home, I took the hottest shower of my life, and played for a half hour.

I was sooo cold, I felt like I just reached the summit of Mt. Everest. It was pretty intense, but satisfying.

Yeah it was pretty damn cold....man i forgot about that. We were all begging the manager to let us in while we waited, but it turns out his heart was as cold as the weather.

...My frace was frozen in a grin the whole day.

It was February 20th, 2007.I remember being very excited when I saw a fat lady coming out of Gamestop with a Wii. Fortunately, I had a **** load of cash that day, so I immediately bought one.

My initial reactions: I remember being disappointed a little because the controls weren't as responsive as I thought they would be. But then, I played Zelda: TP, which was one of the greatest things ever and fell in love with my Wii. :D
