Your thoughts on Guitar Hero III

What are your thoughts on the game?

I thought it was a good game all around, but I only got it today like the rest of you so I might think differently later on.;)

i think's pretty good except the band you play looks really bad. but overall it's good

after an while it gets boring playing the songs over and over and over agin

I think it rocks i dont have a problem with the graphics and i dont get tired of the gameplay

and yes im one of those people that went to gamestop at 12 o'clock to get it

i am just really stupid but how come my whammy bar doesn't work. Did i get a faulty one, or do you have to something to have it workFalserthan

Did you calibrate it? I've heard that dust is causing a lot of problems for other buttons like the frets, but I don't know if that applies to the whammy bar. Well, take the neck apart and blow into both connections to see if it helps at all I guess. If that doesn't work, post on the GHIII board and you'll get a way to fix it for sure, I know other people were talking about it. For some of them, it just needed to be "worn in" and it started working all of a sudden after a while.

I'm lovin the game so far. Graphics are atrocious, but everything else is great.

Gah, I won't be able to get this game until Tuesday, and only if I'm lucky...

Not only that, but afterwards my wallet will be crying for love, and I'll have to work around the house to regain a bit of my cash. xD

man just play it. It's fun. Either that or wait for Rock Band which is what I'm doing.

Guitar Hero is no casual/party game my friend. Its a way of life, its intense, it gets you goin, it keeps you awake at night, just watching those little circles fly past on the back of your eyelids. OH no, do not underestimate it's power. You silly silly man.

It's great, I just picked it up today.

I haven't been through all the songs yet, but so far the track list is awesome.

My only complaint is that the lead singer of the band looks extremely lame. And the drummer looks ridiculous, he moves worse than a manequin on strings.

There's a difference between crappy-casual and good-casual. Guitar Hero is the latter for most people. Have you ever tried playing it, or are you too "hardcore" to even bother?

To me, "hardcore" doesn't mean that you only play PFS (or whatever genre is your favorite). What makes you really hardcore is being able to enjoy all genres (as long as the game is good), and not limit yourself to such a small world.

If you took the time to get together with some friends, get a couple guitars outand play a few rounds of Guitar Hero drinking games, you'll see what the big deal is.

most fun song in the game...

its the same guitar hero but with better songs i loved playing that one song on tier 3 i think it was some song from 1980 something but it sounded like 1960 /1970. Anyways its a really fun game i think im gonna save upmoney to buy it after i get super mario galaxy.

The exclusive features of the wii version really stood out in multiplayer.

I waited in line at a midnight launch with my neighbor and his friends

We got home and played and It was ok

I dont see what all the hype is about

I wouldnt buy it myself

I picked it up yesterday.

I had played GH games before, but never actually owned one ... GH3 is alot of fun, My roomate and I spent well over 6 hours yesterday playing it. Definitely well worth the money ...
