True, although only the Super Mario Bros 2 was really a memorable feature. But if we're going that route "Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World" is probably the best Mario game as it has 5 Marios and 4 of them are remade with better graphics and sound. Not that I guess any of this really matters though as there are no Top 10 list laws. It was just an observation.

Combining the 2 Mario games together, Super Mario Bros 1 and 2, I think can be justified. Like you said, no law or rule technically.
