[QUOTE="Jazunn"]Zack & Wiki, it is a lot more entertaining than SPM.sman3579
You really think that?
From the first cutscene, I fell in love witn Z&W. It's a funny, smart and very addictive game! It makes great use of the Wiimote and it's budget price... What's not to love?
I think it really comes down to personal preference. SPM is more of a platformer with with light RPG elements. Zack and Wiki is an old school adventure game with puzzles, very little straightforward action, and a Wii twist. SPM has tons of collector gameplay in it as well, so the replay value I think is a bit higher. SPM also has a bigger map to playthrough, one that for me was difficult to play in short bursts because I'd forget important locations. SPM also bored me. Just not a compelling game really. I'm not much of aalso n RPG guy, and even the light RPG in SPM was too much what with having to switch around your, I forget what they're called, but they're your companions.
Zack and Wiki on the other hand is more like once you've played the puzzle, that's it, you've got it down pat. You might be able to replay once you've had it down for awhile and forget, but still... With that said, I find it to be a fresher experience for me, despite some clever puzzles in SPM. It's easier to play Zack and Wiki over a course of months. Like I haven't played it in weeks, but I could jump right into my next unfinished puzzle because gameplay wise it didn't have much to do with the previous one.
With that said, sitting here now sans a copy of SPM, I'm tempted to go out and buy it again because there is some cool stuff in SPM. Pretty fun actually with some good humor. They're both solid games and overall, I'd say both games have a good deal of content. Again, it just comes down to preference.
(And to whoever said Z&W was Godly, it's kind of an overstatement. Great game still.)
