No, this is how zelda games work, and have allways worked. There are however shortcuts you can take to get back to where you are quicker. In the goron mines its the giant moving magnet things. You can easily take a large shortcut by using them. It shouldnt take you long to get there using them.

Zelda games have always started you back at the beginning of the dungeon if you save in the middle and turn it off. If you want to go back to where you were you have to use the Oocoo and teleport out of the dungeon save there and then when you come back use the Oocoo again and you'll teleport back to the room you were in.

If you have him, you just equip him to the B button and push it...The bird will pop out and ask if you want to teleport out..answer yes and they drop you right outside the dungeon. Save the game and you can now turn it off and come back to the same room you were in when you used him.

well just walk through untill you get to the big room with the moving magnet (its only a couple of rooms in I think) and you'll find it is still activated from when you activated it before , and it will come around to where you are, and you can then use it to get back up to the seccond floor, hopefully quite near to where you were before. I think I am describing the right dungeon... right??

Within that room there's also a few doors you can open using the bow.

I can't remember if it was outdoors or not. I think it might have been but i cant remember, its a long while since i have done that dungeon. It had the giant moving magnet thingy that you activated and it moves and you use your iron boots to stick to it and move around the diferent platforms with it.

I suggest we end this thread before Shirley starts ranting about how he hates TP.
