Zelda: Breath of the Wild is Now the Second Highest-Selling Zelda Game

As of December 31st, 2017, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has outsold every Zelda game globally with the exception of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

And that's not a mistake, Twilight Princess actually outsold Ocarina of Time.

Although, there is no doubt that Breath of the Wild will outsell Twilight Princess, probably in a matter of months, and definitely sometime this year.

How many of those numbers include the re-releases on the 3DS and Wii U? BOTW eventually surpassing all of its predecessors is not surprising.

it is arguably the best 3D zelda game so it is well deserved!

It also shows how popular switch is. almost like wii.

Thats actually shocking. I actually thought OoT would be the best selling Zelda game since its the most popular one and always considered the best.

Well, I enjoyed Twilight Princess more in 200X than I did BotW in 2017.

BOTW will become the highest seller soon enough. Switch will be adopted by millions of more users within it's lifetime and plenty will want to try this game they have heard soo much about
