a difficulty setting, since in the last few zelda games, bosses have only been able to do a maximum of 1/2 a heart of damage per hitdonaldo1989In the gameplay videos I saw that one boss hit 2 hearts of damge in one hit. So maybe there is already a difficulty level, or the difficulty level has increased.
I would make the "collection" aspect useful. Instead of just gathering skulls and stones for no apparent reason, other than selling I guess, I would make this part of the game a tad more crucial. You would get a stock sword at somepoint, but if you chose, you could "adventure" and find various pieces--out of hundres--and build your own Master Sword.
A Boss rush mode like Castlevania. A Co-op mode would be nice too. Maybe some kind of time attack mode to see how fast you can complete a dungeon and post it on online leaderboards and stuff.King-gamer
- Co-op mode in a Zelda game would not work nor would it be any good. Zelda has always been about the single player experience. Adding co-op would severely cripple and destroy the very soul of LOZ.
- Having online leader boards is also a stupid idea. It takes away from the immersion and story. I don't want Zelda to feel like a social club
- I do like the idea about Boss Rush Mode. It would be nice to replay bosses (but only after I've beaten the game).

I agree. Because Four Swords, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are all terrible games because they have included multiplayer instead of focusing solely on single player.
Online leaderboards ruined Megaman 9 and 10 because Megaman has always been about difficult platforming and old school gameplay. Megaman 9 and 10 feels more like a social club now than an old school game.

I would put a sort of flashlight in it.
You must point at the screen and a beam of light goes there, there could be some cool light puzzles with it.
Eraphiron
Mirror Shield?
I hope there are a good amount of side quests and maybe one or two items that you don't need to complete the game but you can get and are useful to complete some sidequests.

Nintendo should hire you. :P
Or maybe Sony Santamonica already did? :P
Good idea though, i would say a lantern but that is different then a beam so I hear where you are coming from lol.

Idk, it's going to be even more strategic than before. Bosses are basically moving puzzles, not action oriented like in God of War. With the use of angular precision in battle, it will be harder with new patterns, it was very easy to predict enemies in TP because of the been there done that feel. SS will definitely satisfy people in this area.
A flying dragon that link could ride into the sky.
UbiquitousAeon
Haha I would not put my money on a dragon, but something that allows you to fly is probably going to happen in Skyward Sword. Maybe not :P. If you can fly I would guess its the sword/girl that allows you to do so.

Agreed, that is why I really like this new control style, because it actually does add to the gameplay. And puzzles themselves will be harder or atleast different then normal in some ways. I have a feeling this is going to be my second favorite 3D zelda :).

Four Swords is a great game when you play it the way it's supposed to be, and the reason Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks were sub-par Zelda games wasn't because they included multi-player, it was becasue they needed to make it easy enough for non-gamers to jump into.
I also don't see how an online leader board can ruin a game. Megaman would still be just as hard with or without the leaderboard, and if it's really that big of an issue, just don't go to the leaderboards...and if you have to, everything from the menu layout to the loading screen captures the essence of the game. I don't understand how you see it as a social club either, it's just a leader board. There's no chatting, there's no discussing techniques, it's just a list of names with times. All of this applies to practically every game that includes a leaderboard, and I don't see why Zelda would be any different.
It would be nice if the Pegasus Boots came back. A magnet type item would also be really cool.
Gorillanator
Haha, yeah I hear ya, but he already does run faster then before. I kinda like that they are changing simple things like that to make it feel new and fresh :P.
