Ok guys stop fighting and lets actually post things which pertain to the topic. Ocarina of Time is a great game but I've never played it and am hoping for it to come out on the U.S. Virtual console.

First of all, I don't care since I've owned the Gamecube disc with OOT for 3 years and can play it on my Wii. Second of all, we'll probably get it Monday or in a few weeks.

Wow, I am ALL for top tiered hits on the VC, but holy crap!    I havent even gotten around to starting Zelda 3, now I know the 64 version is going to be out soon too? Praise be to My Wii for all the channels I'll be adding when my next check clears.
Also, the 64 is the one console where the price of games is under what you would pay for the physical cartridge. While the NES VC games are stock with high demand at the moment, Mario 64 has always cost around $25 US while Zelda: OOT is in the $20-$50 range (gotta love them gold cartridges). But sometimes the price of games are overvalued too, like how I saw a $80 copy of Ogre Battle 64 complete in its box and Mario Party 3 for $22. I am sure that Mario Party will be ported over, but its up to Square-Enix to give us Ogre Battle (they own Quest now...). This 1000-1200 point margin for VC games gives a lot of gamers the chance to save their money from scammers and musty cartridges that have been lying in a basement for five years.

It must be up to the reginal Nintendo Compaines. Like i said before we dont have A Link To The Past, which I would prefer due to already owning OoT on my n64. But we shall see, I Mentioned it because I thought it odd no one had said anything, it wasnt in gamespot news and they hadnt reviewed it.

For those of you so excited about OoT appearing on VC, you should've purchased the N64 gold cartridge and the two GameCube Collectors Discs. Otherwise, where have you all been these past few years? You call yourselves Zelda fans?! Oh please!
Look at all the drama that happens when some people get to buy OoT on their Wii before others, well im extreamly happy i was able to buy it yesterday, had DK Country at launch and got Mario Kart 64 first. I guess Pal regions get a little something back for lacking 6 Wii games at launch that we are only starting to get now, we only got Excite Truck last week you know :lol:

Anyway did America finally get Excitebike yet, We got it last week but Im still waiting for Alex Kidd and  Virtua Fighter 2. I know there coming in Japans march lineup (http://au.wii.ign.com/articles/767/767127p1.html) but when will it arrive here.
I'm Canadian, and I must say we do make fun of Americans...and Americans make fun of Canadians. Every country makes fun of other countries, its what nations do:) Anyway, I am jealous of Australia now for getting OOT. I still have my original cart, but for various reasons I never finished the game. I want to restart and I would prefer to do it with (most likely) better looking Wii VC version. If Mario64 looks so much better, just imagone what Zelda will look like...awesome!
It's not only Australia that got OoT, it's PAL regions which means Europe aswell and why is everyone so whiney for it appearing on the VC or is it because that Europe and Australia got it earlier for once? Either way i'm glad and I own it on the N64(signed copy) and the GC special edition disc. I downloaded it because my n64 is no longer hooked up and even though I have the GC disc that means if I just want a quick go on the game or what ever it is right there on my Wii, no waiting around, changing discs etc.
I think everyone is missing the point here... Who cares? If you're that big a fan of this game, you already own it. So who cares if someone got it before you, because most likely you own it already. Go play the copy you already own. Honestly, who cares.

I really don't get all the fuss over Ocarina of Time for the Virtual Console. I thought everyone already had that game on a Gamecube disc, or maybe even two.
if anyone honestly thinks that the United States of America is the "best" country in the world than they need therapy.. after all, the only people who are going to think the USA is a good place to live are Americans cuz god knows every other country looks at them in dissapointment.. anyway.. back on topic I have, and am currently playing through OoT on the gamecube disc and love it, the only game I may buy in the future is alttp because its so great.

OMGZ darn you australia!! I'm fine with it because I have it on my 64 as well as the GC disc. I am waiting for Master Quest on the VC though....

OMGZ darn you australia!! america is the only ones without Ocarina of Time. I have it on GC already, so I can play it on my wii anytime I wish, but honestly, I respect and love nintendo and i love this game, so I will support their work of emulating it.
