I'm at the tile puzzle where you have to get the one on the higher ledge to match the one on the ground. I have waisted 4 hours trying to figure this out and no luck. I looked at every single faq on gamespot and none of them helped. If someone could please tell me how they figured it out, please help me. Thanks.

I feel your pain ;-)I read a FAQ online that had the hint that you can hit the area around the puzzle (both close in and farther away) to alter tiles in a different fashion than actually hitting the tiles (like us rule-followers tend to keep doing!).  So, see how there is a grid on the floor?  Try hitting one row and two rows away (especially at the corners) to see how it affects your puzzle.  Once I had that trick, it was 10 mins maybe to get the right image.TW

It just kinda takes luck, it took me like 1/2 and hour to do it, I just was smashing the tiles with my hammer.
