Its kinda late, and I'm just thinking out loud here, but in the trailer for the Skyward Sword when link jumps off that cliff did anyone else think "God of War" right away?

No that must just be you because first, GoW didn't invent jumping off cliffs.

Second, Kratos doesn't technically jump off the cliff, he more so just takes a step off the cliff and lets his body fall, while Link does a legitimate jump. I do believe Kratos was also trying to kill himself.
