I'm about to play through all the zelda games this summer so that i no more about the series and the whole storyline. So far i've beaten tp, oot, minish cap, and wind waker. The next game i have is majora's mask but i don't no if i should play it. Can any1 tell me if it has any significance to the whole zelda storyline cause i really don't wanna waste my time with it if it doesn't.

It's not that significant, but it's one of my top 3 Zeldas. It's a masterpiece. Sure it's different than the other Zeldas, but it's still awesome.

Pretty much all of the games in the Zelda franchise are independent from one another...you're not really gaining anything in "storyline" from playing one versus another. Almost each new game tells the story of a new Link and a new Zelda. However, Majora's Mask is a direct sequel to OoT, and probably the most unique Zelda game out there.

And by the way, I don't think there's a Zelda game that has been made for Nintendo systems that could be qualified as a "waste of time"...

I did that last year. Begin by the first Zelda ever made on NES until PH on DS in order of the release dates by starting from the oldest to the most recent.

You'd be better off finding a web site that explains the history. Try Majora's Mask. You won't regret it.
