Zelda TP: City in the Sky help! (possible spoilers)

I'm pretty far into the level and whenever I use the Ooccoo to teleport back to the shop, so I can start in the same place when I teleport back, It won't let me teleport back to the exact spot in fact when I turn back on the game and load my profile it brings me at the begining of the level with the Ooccoo! I remember the baby ooccoo being with me before I shut it off but instead the mother Ooccoo runs up me and says let's get on with our journey starting me right there next to the Ooccoo shop!  

How can anyone help you with that....
