Zelda: TP help

I'm reading this walkthrough and I'm at the 17th part.

It tells me to warp to N Faron Woods and go through the swamp and when I get to the other side a monkey should appear being chased by monsters. However when I do this there are no monkey appearing. Some help would be nice

The monkey should be near the entrance to the forest temple if I remember correctly. Are you there?
