How do i get on top to get the chest on the outside of the castle southern exit?

Ha, I remember having a hard time figuring that one, but now I can't remember how I did it! :x

It's something about using the clawshot on a pillar somewhere near it and/or using the wolf to walk on ropes and/or using the spinner on the castle walls... Anyway, it is explained in FAQs and walkthroughs around the internet, so research a bit.

you have to use the spinner on the castle behind.

use the clawshot to reach the castle.

I think the one that you're talking about is the one in the big hole thing to the left of the stairs outside the castle town.

What you do is look down and find vines that you can clawshot, and then use the other clawshot to work your way down to it. There's 500 Ps. in the chest.

If you fall into the river at the bottom, you'll wind up in Lake Hylia.
