That's the wrong bridge - you're thinking of the bridge in Kakariko Gorge. He needs the stone bridge in the [spoiler] Gerudo Mesa [/spoiler]
Teleport to the Gerudo Desert and keep going straight, you'll see a pillar, pick that up and transport it to Eldin. Also this is where the Cave Trails is.
