It's great to see ANY other mention of J-Dawg. Frankly, I think the album falls quite a bit short the album it's based on, "Behind Tint Vol. II". The new songs are good, but they dont even come remotely close to the songs they replace (songs like "About Love", "Pen On Fire", and "Rain Forever" are some of the best songs of any year, period). "Behind Tint Vol II" still probably won't end up getting my pick for AOTY, but all the same, it's easy to recognize that it's flat-out the best album released this year, end of story.

Also, I have to say that my Most Anticipated Record of 2011 has instantly changed after finding out that E-40 & Too $hort are releasing a collabo album titled "The History Channel". Frankly, this could and should be the only rap album I will ever need in life. Will it end up being remotely that good? Probably not, but it should still be entertaining. "*****", the single from E-40's last album, was probably their least inspired collabo they've ever done and it's still way more interesting than the bulk of music released last year.
