Hey colt, the kings are terrible. Cousins is such a punk, he might be the worst teammate in the league. The Wolves played like sh!t and still tossed your salad.

gonna be another great year for the NBA especially once Kevin Love comes back and Derrick Rose
James Harden proving that he should have been a starter out of college
Lakers struggling like the Heat when they got their new players but will find their groove soon enough
that rookie on Portland Lillard (?) first player to average 20+ points and 7 assists back to back their rookie season since Lebron
The Bucks manhandled the Celtics, they're definitely gonna be that sleeper team in the east to shock some ppl
you guys are all off task talking about james harden and the magic. THIS IS A THREAD ABOUT THE KINGS
the kings constantly remind me that they're one of the worst teams in the L every day. they can't shoot. they don't play defense. they just chuck shots and play iso....IT'S A PAIN TO WATCH.
we're really bad.Â
Do Demarcus Cousins a favor, like the one he asked for last season, and trade him. He's the next Michael Beasley, it's quite apparent. You guys need to blow up your team. You have a lot of pieces that people would want, unfortunately they don't fit together, they just aren't mature or disciplined enough to be successful. You need a star, they're hard to come by, and you're not going to get one for Cousins. You could try and dump him on a Big man heavy team like Boston or Utah, where they would welcome him for his potential, and you could get someone more mature. Then you need to decide between Thomas and Brooks as well as Evans and Thornton. You're going to have to get less than value for your trade, but hopefully you can get control of the immaturity.you guys are all off task talking about james harden and the magic. alright, so we're surprisingly playing better defense. james johnson was a good contribution, but he too is a selfish player. He thinks he's better than he is and that's annoying. He's not an offensive player, but consistently thinks he should be chucking up shots or driving to the basket. News flash: you're not that nice. Play defense and shut up. That's what you're here for. To play a role.
Our offense looks like crap. We're not making shots because we still don't have shooters at positions that we need shooters at. What doesn't make sense is that Tyreke Evans is starting. WHY IS THIS MAN STARTING ON THIS TEAM? And what kind of offense is supposed to function correctly with TWO WING PLAYERS THAT DON'T SHOOT WELL (Evans, James Johnson.) Evans "worked on his shooting," in the off season, but he still can't shoot. And it shows.
What we need to do, now that we have so many pieces in place, is to start making it work for this team. We have three point guards (IT, Jimmer, Aaron Brooks) and none of them play defense. We have a natural 2-guard in Marcus Thornton who can shoot and a slasher in Evans who can't shoot, but can play D. We have Johnson whom I like at the wing and a crowded set of big men. Currently our rotation looks like this...
Isaih Thomas/Aaron Brooks/Jimmer
Evans/Thornton/Jimmer
James Johnson/Evans/Garcia
JT/T-Rob/Hayes
Cousins/T-Rob/Hayes
Defensively this is fine, but offensively it struggles. We need to put Thornton in the lineup over Evans. Let Evans play in a 6th man role. It would also infuse some defense on the perimeter off the bench and some much needed shooting in the starting 5. Run the offense through Cousins and Thornton.Â
We could still use a defensive PG and a defensive big, but we're so locked into some of these guys long-term that it seems like we're stuck. What I wouldn't do to move Brooks/Thomas/Evans/T-Rob/Hayes in exchange for a defensive 2-guard, a Jrue Holliday and a defensive big like Omer Asik....but that'd never happen. Bobcats should trade us back BIYOMBO.Â
we talking the same beasley swaggin right now?Apocalypse33Beasley is averaging 14 ppg, and shooting 35%. Same Beasley I know.
I don't think he's a terrible coach. He gets a bad rap for having players who can't play defense, and thus doesn't coach it. He's got a great team here though. Compared to Phil Jackson though = :(DiIIasDonutsI think he's smart, but picking him over Phil is what gets me. I could understand if Phil said no, or something like that, but he didn't, they picked D'Antoni. LA should have just hired Shaw a few years ago, he's a young coach that they could've kept for awhile. I think he would've worked out.
At least the Lakers are smart enough to give the backup PG minutes to Darius Morris over Chris Duhon. Duhon is probably the most useless player in the league.
I actually am surprised by Morris, he was awful last year and he's been pretty good this year. I almost forgot Duhon and Earl Clark were on the team:lol:At least the Lakers are smart enough to give the backup PG minutes to Darius Morris over Chris Duhon. I tried that yesterday, it was too hard, but very funny.http://www.oldspicesavestheworld.com/
everyone needs to play this Dikembe Mutombo game

Tyreke has been playing well for you guys in these past few games Colt, not sure how long Aaron Brooks will keep that starting PG spot though, don't think he's ever fully going to be consistent.Â
meanwhile the Wizards are still winless, can't believe Portland is only 4 point favorites for tonight
Anthony Davis The Unibrow is out for a couple weeks, Ryan Anderson has been filling in well for him as the starter
I keep hearing analysts say OKC is just as good as they were last year with Kevin Martin, that's certainly not true. Martin is a pure scorer while Harden can also facilitate when he needs too, they'll be a better team from last year if Ibaka can keep up his scoring production cause they missed having a consisten big man down on the block
and the Lakers, well call me crazy but I think trading Pau would be the best decision for the team and I think he'd flourish elsewhere in a different system where he could be used more effectively. Really missing Nash at the point but he's not going to solve all the Lakers problems, the guy is truly on his last legs but when he's out there it'd be great to see him run the offense instead of having Kobe facilitate
Tyreke and Aaron Brooks work well together in the back court. They compliment each other very well. Brooks can hit the outside shot and doesn't play much defense...Evans is a slasher, but has no outside shot and plays defense. When 'Reke slashes he needs to have the option to kick it out...and Brooks is a better scorer than Thomas.Tyreke has been playing well for you guys in these past few games Colt, not sure how long Aaron Brooks will keep that starting PG spot though, don't think he's ever fully going to be consistent.

The problem is we don't have enough scorers in the starting lineup. If it's Brooks-Evans-Salmons-JT-Cousins the only outside shooter is Brooks. If it's Thomas-Evans-Johnson-JT-Cousins the only shooter is IT. If Evans had an outside shot he'd be a valuable weapon, but he doesn't have a shot...that's the problem.
A big problem for us is that all of our shooters are guards (Jimmer/Brooks/Thomas/Thornton.) Our starting lineup is crippling without a shooter who can defend at the 3. If 'Reke could develop his shot & was literally an inch taller we'd be a million times better. A line up with say Thomas-Thornton-Reke-JT-Cousins would only suffer in the defensive paint. IT can run plays, 'Reke could slash and pop shots out to Thornton/IT or he could hit Cousins in the paint.
As he's our most valuable piece I think if we move him we'd set up more minutes for our guards. Our roster is set up with oodles of talent and no direction. Bringing in guys like James Johnson (who has the same skillset as Terrence Williams) and Aaron Brooks (same skillset as Jimmer/IT) proves that. Geoff Petrie (our GM) is a moron.
LOL @ these Lakers, this is what we get for hiring D'Antoni. Seriously. -Halftime-Nothing would make me happier than the Lakers missing the playoffs. I loathe them.

I love your T-wolves btw. Really want them to go deep in the playoffs. RUBIO is my boy. ****, I wish the Kings had picked him.....I'm creaming my pants right now at the thought of taking him over Evans. Taking him, never signing Aaron Brooks....kings would be so swaggie
Rubio/IT/Jimmer
Thornton/Jimmer
James Johnson/SalmonsÂ
JT/T-Rob
Cousins/Hayes
This as the rotation >>>>>> what we have now. We'd definitely need some defense at the guard spot & a shooter at the 3, but I'd say playoffs if we had, say....Marion for Salmons and a Tony Allen instead of IT.

The Wolves have not been playing good enough. That's for sure, I really hope Rubio is ready to go when he gets back. We need to start stepping it up. We were playing better the first two weeks without Love, until Budinger and Roy went out. If Budinger was healthy we'd have a much better record. We do have an all-around solid team when everyone's healthy, except for Barea (he's complete garbage).[QUOTE="-Halftime-"]LOL @ these Lakers, this is what we get for hiring D'Antoni. Seriously. DiIIasDonutsNothing would make me happier than the Lakers missing the playoffs. I loathe them. I'm not afraid they'll miss the playoffs. I still think they'll get a top 4 seed. I'm just worried about their chances at a title with D'Antoni as the coach. At least all the problems they have currently are fixable, though. Just hard to be patient when the team just looks so bad some nights.
 Lakers
What'd y'all expect against the Knicks though without Nash/Gasol...lolololololo still though
Anyone else think it'd be funny if Bynum doesn't play the whole year and then leaves the 6ers for FA?
it's not the loss agains the good teams that's killing me, it's seeing them struggle against these craptastic teams that they should be beating but D'Antoni doesn't want to adapt to who the Lakers really are. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Wizards beat us tonight, seriously lol this is just a jokeandyboiiiWord, I kinda thought the Lakers would get the breaks against the Knicks and OKC, but the losses against teams like Orlando and Utah and Cleveland are just ridiculous. The team is not very fun to watch right now. This is worse than 2006. At least then we had low expecatations and we were still getting a show every night with Kobe's brilliance. This is just hard to watch.
The Magic teams with Dwight were never an enjoyable team to watch but they were good.
And the Magic aren't that bad this year lol. I'm just counting the days until Andrew Nicholson eventually starts for us at PF.

Nik Vucevic ain't looking too bad now:D Solid 10ppg 9reb in only his 2nd year in the league.
Magic have mad cap room & tons of draft picks. They're set up pretty well right now...
Funny because they're clearly in rebuild mode, but they're already set up better than teams like the KINGS that have been in rebuild mode for like 5 years...Â
