That's a terrible opinnion.How do you know what fits 50? You don't know him personally. So it's not what he's expected to do musically, who cares. If he wants to venture out, and broaden his horizon that's his perogative. It's so boring to do the same thing, with the same formula for so long.
Because Mos Def is known for his rapping skills, do you automatically call all of his songs that where he sings wack?
Most of the songs Mos Def sings ARE WACK...I'm cool with rappers trying new things, as long as the new things are as good, if not better then their old style. Ayo Technology ain't bad, and it ishes on some songs from his last album, but it really doesn't sound like a song 50 would make imo, mummble mouth 50 using a fast flow just doesn't seem to be a good thing imo. I honestly think this song would be MUCH better as just JT, only rapper that could really rock this beat correctly would be 2000-2004 Jay-Z

He's chosen to sing more than rap on his albums, are his albums wack now?If it's better than a handful of songs on his old album (I'd argue that it's better than every song on that album, outside of maybe 3 songs) then why do you have a problem with it? You can't expect him to be an overnight pro at a newst.yle he's trying out.
I said most, not all lol...of course not all of them are wack, but most of them are (particularly the newer ones). And yeah, K-Os has chosen to sing more then he raps, but guess what I wish he did more on his albums...that's right, rap. K-Os' albums have gone down in quality with each release (they are all good, but the less he raps, the less I've listened). Same goes for Andre 3 Stacks (except I enjoy K-Os' singing much more then Andre 3000's). I never said singing is wack for rappers to do anyway so this discussion is pointless. Like I said, Ayo Technology ain't a bad song, and in my post I said it ished on some songs from his last album, but that's not saying that much since his last album sucked save like 5 tracks (AT MOST). I really don't have a problem with this song, and never said I did, I wouldn't have expected 50 to do this type of song and I think it would be MUCH MUCH better as just JT and Timberland. Do I expect artist to be a pro at a new **** not exactly, but I expect a professional musician not to put out a product until he is good at it. 50 is good at this **** it's not a ****I want to hear from him...what do I want from 50, how about some GRODT level tracks, how about the same witty ****that showed he did not give a **** what we all thought. I love like that 50 more, and it's one of the reason I like "I Get Money" even though that track is a striaght bite of "I'm a Hustla"
