"Purple Swag"

I posted this vid in the WAYLT thread around when it first came out and it's gone viral since... probably because of the white girl but the song is great too with its Houston influences. It's kind of odd hearing something like that coming from Harlem.

To my knowledge ASAP doesn't even have a mixtape out but he has an unofficial compilation of older tracks called "Deep Purple" that's been floating around.

Other songs

"Wassup" --- produced by Clams Casino. This was the first song I heard by ASAP a few months ago.

"Peso" --- this is the song playing at the end of the Purple Swag music vid. Just was released in full a little over a week ago.

Was wondering how you guys felt about ASAP.

Purple Swag is dope, but haven't really listened to anytihng else due to the lack of a mixtape. Will look into this compilation, though.

Yeah I think it got downloaded too many times. The link on his website was going at like 12 kb/sec and then died halfway through. Best bet is probably just to check the ASAP twitter page for links to the mixtape because there are others.

lol at that picture. both reviews agreed that he was kind of influenced by Lil B in a way and he's carried mostly by the production. I like the words Anthony Fantano used, "His music puts me into the high and puts it into the sound"
