Classic Album Voting 22: Group Home-Livin Proof

Debut album by Gang Starr affiliates Group Home. It has superb production by DJ Premier but Lil Dap and Melachi are kinda wack on the mic. Still, I say the production does enough to just make it a ****c IMO.

I'll say No but I'm pretty torn just because the rhymes are so average.

Lmao of course,thats why nobody takes his opinion seriously anymore. They change daily like Whitney and Bobby's crave for the white.

I say no. The production is classic,but the rapping ruins it sooooo bad.

IMO the lyrics are pretty born. They play well with the lyrics. Serious Rap **** isn't bad.

EDIT: IMO the album also features alot of Premo's best production.

It's not a classic due to the terrible lyricism. Classic production, not a classic album though.

What if Premo did happen to produce it? Would you like it then? Have you ever thought that maybe when someone does so much good ish, they can get away with crap like bad production? Premo is amazing - no argument there. The album's production is off the charts - yes. But saying you don't like the production of Guru because he isn't much of a DJ doesn't mean ish when stacked up against all of the wack lines Premo might throw out now and then. I'm not quoting lyrics, but maybe you are idolizing him a little too far.
