I don't know how this board isn't all over this album, it's seriously up there for the best release of the year along with Street Hop, A Pipe Dream and A Promise, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II, Well...Isn't This Awkward, The Warm Up, This Ain't No Mixtape, and The Standard.

Go cop this album if you haven't already, especially if you liked Below the Heavens. For people who did not like BTH, still cop this, cause Fashawn is way better at picking beats than Blu and his lyrics are better on some tracks on this album than Blu's on BTH.

Ain't listen to the Cormega yet, but I doubt I'll like it as much as Fashawn's album. Never been much of a Mega fan to be honest.

lol the beats on below the heavens are much better, exile's drums are mostly awful and the samples are wack, some lame swing jazz stuff and boring soul samples, no thanks. fashawn is decent but boring and his voice is kinda annoying.

I'm just curious, what determines if you like the drums or not? Do they have to sound like real drums or do they have to have a certain kick to them or what?

well I'm listening to this album now and half the tracks on here could have been mixed better, like turning the high end up slightly would deiniftely be a big improvement on most of these tracks, but w.e. these beats are decent enough to listen to, but they're not better than the ones on BTH..

God no, the beats on that album put you to sleep.

Lyrically Boy Meets World kills, I'm having a hard time getting into the beats though.

At first listen, its alright. BTH is definitely better. I'll listen tomorrow again when the Phillies aren't playing and I'm sure it'll sink in more.

You got me interested, that's for sure. A lot of the stuff you mentioned is among my favorites of the year and Below the Heavens is one of my favorites period.

I actually was thinking of giving this album a shot, mainly just off of all the hype it's getting, but that's about all I need to see to discourage me from listening to it.

Well, you may like the Mistah Fab song, but that's about it...
