One thing that always crosses my mind is if Paid In Full still overall voted for Rakim's best work with Eric B. I remember Hash and Halftime claiming Follow The Leader to be their favorite and Don't Sweat The Technique is my favorite album by the duo. I still love Paid In Full, but I think its honestly their weakest album:?

Paid in Full & Don't Sweat cut it for me. Wasn't feeling the vibe of Follow the Leader (with a couple exceptions) & Let the Rhythm Hit 'em.

Follow The Leader ftw. I like Paid in Full second best though. Just, the first 3 tracks on FTL are pure classic. Plus I like Eric B.'s production a bit more on Follow The Leader.

"Mahogany","No Omega","Untouchables","Run 4 Cover"??!?!? I used to not like Let The Rhythm Hit Em' at first also, but it grew on me. I haven't listened to FTL in a long ass time,so I can't comment on that CD:(

I Ain't No Joke, My Melody, I Know You Got Soul, Paid in Full, and Eric B. is President are just straight up classics. I gotta go with Paid in Full... something about Ra's flow and the beats just match perfectly on that album. Let the Rhythm Hit Em and Don't Sweat the Technique do get overshadowed by Paid in Full and Follow the Leader a lot, but all are ill in their own right. Ra's 18th Letter is real underrated too.

I don't know how credible Eric B. is to be honest, too many articles pointing to Rakim on the boards.

Follow The Leader FTW. It's like an improved version of Paid In Full. Rakim has much doper flow, better Lyrics (more multis FTW), and the production is RAW and more astounding. "Follow The Leader", "Microphone Fiend", "Lyrics of Fury", and "The R" are better than ANY other Rakim song ever made

Don't get me wrong Ra comes strong lyrically, but I do not think the production on those albums suit his deep, cool, soothing delivery like on Don't Sweat the Technique.

Paid in Full is my favourite. I've onlygot Paid in Full and Follow the Leader. The first three tracks on Follow the Leader > anything on Paid in Full but after that it kind of falls off a bit whereas on Paid in Full I love everytrack Rakim raps on.

Paid In Full has always been my favorite...but my music tastes have changed drastically since the last time I jammed that album, or any of his albums for that matter....so I really don't want to say.
