Reason for the Hype: Joe Budden is hyped mostly for his mixtapes Mood Muzik & Mood Muzik 2, and various other songs he drops not on albums like the Crazy (Remix). He is especially good at getting his emotions across through his lyrics while still having good punchlines.

Reason for the Hype: Cassidy is hyped for his freest.yles and his ability as a battle rapper. Though his true nature is a battle rapper, he's shown that he can still make successful hits with songs like I'm A Hustla.

Reason For the Hype: Wayne has dropped two good albums already in Tha Carter and The Carter II, and he is relentless in putting out material... it seems like he always has another mixtape coming out. He is mainly a punchline/braggadocio rapper with a lot of swagger and nice flow, but does do different songs like "I Miss My Dawgs," "Georgia....Bush," and "Shooter" once in a while as well. Notable artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Andre 3000 have all praised his ability.

Reason for the hype: Saigon is hyped for his lyrics and substance. He's more than just another punchline rapper on the block and his words carry a lot of weight. Mixtapes like the Yardfather, Welcome to Saigon hosted by DJ Drama, and the Return of the Yardfather have earned him much praise. Artists like Jay-Z, Just Blaze, and Q-Tip have all praised his ability.

Reason For the Hype: Pap is hyped for his punchlines and multisyllable way of rhyming. He has never dropped an album yet so the hype is based solely off of his mixtapes, such as Mixtape Murder, and his freest.yles. Many people say Papoose reminds them of Big L.

I wouldn't say easily, but I like Mood Muzik 2 better than anything else released by all these artists. But we'll see what happens when Greatest Story Never Told and Nacirema Dream drop, if they ever do....

"three of the five guys haven't even put an album out yet"... Budden actually dropped his self titled debut album 4 years ago, where you been!? As far as I'm concerned, Wayne has two dope major label releases, Budden has one. Is it that big of a difference? Nope.

Voted for Papoose, the dude truly has a unique flow, similar to early Jay; let's you digest what he is saying. Budden has been strong lately, but Pap has great potential which he has shown bits of. Also, there is too much Wayne hating here, even if he isn't as good as Budden, the dude has shown the most growth out of any of these artists and really is hated on mostly because of the stigma attached to his early garbage stuff.
