I want to get into MF Doom but I don't know where to begin and if he has any one album worth buying. I see Operation Doomsday in the banner so that must be good. What are the best songs on that album and is it worth buying?
Yeah, I'd say Operation Doomsday would be the best place to start. I really like MM...Food alot also. His collab albums also seem to be strong like Madvillany (collab with Madlib) and Dangerdoom (collab with DJ Dangermouse).
Personally I'm most excited for his upcoming collab album with Ghostface.
All his stuff is so different that it's hard to determine th best place to start. Go get Vaudeville Villain and then Madvilliany, those are his two best, madvilliany is in my top ten.
