I was wondering if you guys may want to start up a Madden 09 league starring the manly men from OTB? I'll be on the 360 and was wondering who else will be gettin it as well?
i passed on madden 08 so i guess i gotta buy 09 i know i am though. The back track feature is sick just hope its not repetive and becomes one of those sports game featues that you end up pressing "A" after awhile cuz it got old. I still dont get that EA Rewind feature though
looks like EA is actually trying to make the game better than previous years...so yea I think i'll actually be picking it up this year for the 360. I'm in.
you know I'm probably the biggest 2k football fanboy and i've bashed every madden except madden 05 and I must say madden 09 actually looks like it stepped up to the plate this time around. 90% sure i'm buying it this year
I'm down, but I don't know if I'm purchasing it just yet. I might wait a little while this year cus I'm dead broke and when I do get some money Madden isn't near the top of my list.
I will never buy a Madden game. After they made the douchebag move to secure the NFL rights competition was taken out of the Football video game market. Every year Madden brings in new features and updates but they never really fix their core gameplay issues because they do not have too. The Sega football games were better when they were still being made.
The Demo for madden 09 is out for both consoles but of course EA Sports pulls an EA Sports on you and they only allow you to play one drive:lol: you cant even play defense. But i like it a lot though it feels alot different from past Maddens
^ yea it's a dumb move by EA. there are a lot of disspointed madden heads on the 360 forums lol after playing it though it's not all that bad. some things felt like you were going in slow motion but the user total control and the juking was pretty good even with Jacobs and he's not that agile so I can't wait til I play with a guy like LT or AP
i might get it on 360, idk yet though. im flip flopping. it feels alot different just by playing the demo, the o-line no longer sucks, recievers actually try and catch balls and dive and jump for them. ill probably get the collectors edition if i do get it

i love the improved QB movement and the fact that it actually takes effort to throw the ball
