OT: Watchmen

Anyone read this? I picked it up today because I need something new to read during the Christmas break. I heard it's the best comic ever written and the only one to win the Hugo award.

And there's also a Watchmen movie coming out in March which looks VERY promising. Here's the trailer.

I'm going off topic but did anyone see Spirit yet?

Yeah same, this will be the first graphic novel I read in a long time.

And to Kobe, yes I watched Spirit and it's absolutely horrible...

the movie might not come out bc the judge ruled in fox's favor that they have the right to distribute the movie, but most likely it will come out with some deal hammered out between fox and WB, also ive never read it, but am looking forward to the movie. also, the spirit looks awesome but i heard it suckedApocalypse33

The Spirit was ok. It left a little too much to be desired with the storyline. But I never knew the storyline to begin with so what do I know. But I was surprised by the amount of humor. Atleast the art style was really good.

If your in the middle of reading it, makesure you finish it and if you haven't even got it, get it. Art work is sick, storyline is sick and after reading, Kovacs will be your new best character. Its also got an intertwined story in it about a man trying to escape pirates, another comic being read by a kid in it which I thought was pretty cool.

Hoping the movie turns out to be somewhat relevant towards the storyline, I heard they might cut some scenes or some bs.
