I barely remember my posts here like 5 years ago before the union. I think the first thread I posted in was something like name your top 5 albums and your top 5 songs off each of those albums, or something like that.... it was waaay back then.
Yeah. It looked like Jedi Union Council would eventually pass us down the line but they've slowed down. They'll be the next union to 1 million views most likely. There have been quite a few unions that get tons of views and look like they have a chance of passing us in the future (like 6 months+ later) but they never are consistent. OTB consistently gets 2500+ views per day... some days we get near 5000.
The fact that the union views don't update every day helps us too because it makes it harder for other unions to gain ground on us lol.

Yeah, my first post was at a ultimate high of stanning 50. Everybody tried to verbally tear me apart with that. So with that said I heavily contributed to the UCB and Union for OTB.

Yeah, I have no idea how long I've been coming to Gamespot ... all I know is I've been here longer than anyone else. Yay? I remember posting here in the days before Lithium ... maybe even before the company before Lithium. ****, it's been a long while. I think I came to Gamespot just looking for a code for some game, and stumbled across the forums ... I don't think I'd even heard of internet forums before, much less ever posted on one. I posted in General Games Discussion a couple times until I discovered the sheer fun/stupidity of posting in Off Topic, and that's where most of my post count is from. Then, when they introduced game-specific forums, Pointblank started a rap forum on the Parappa the Rapper forums. Then we got UCB's and Witty started OTB. I remember really hating the name "Off the Books". When GS ditched Lithium I started a rap forum on the Funkmaster Flex Digital Hitz game board until Criminal 5 started the new OTB UCB. And that brings us up to the union ... good times guys, good times.
I dunno how long ive been a member of this union, certainly not as long as most of you, but id like to think i made alot of good contributions to this union(threads)

I have been on Gamespot since early 2003 and only joined after conversing with Orlando about Hip Hop on another forum. I gave him some advice here and there and eventually he asked me if I had heard of OTB. I believe this was back in 2006, and I had not heard of OTB, so he recommended it to me - he said I would like it. I like OTB very much. Though we, being you, the union, and me, the wiz, went through some rough patches, notably a couple of months after I joined, I learned to take you all less seriously. While I have backed off on my posting quota quite a bit, I do post regularly and read most posts that I do not reply to, as either I am not knowledgable on the issue, or am not interested. I hope I have gained respect from all of you as much as you have from me. Happy Anniversary OTB. OTB is not a union. It is you.

Ha, Orlando introduced me to OTB too...back in 2004 I remember. I recall early 2004/late 2003 stumbling on the frees.tyle board that Pyro had created, and having a battle with Orlando, and HighRo I think too (might be wrong, might've been blackbeaver)....anyways, I was a regular in SW, and one weekend, me and Wolfman among a few others did SW freestyling, where Orlando came in, and mentioned OTB to us...I came at some point in 2004, and never really looked back.Â
To give you all some perspective, I have created a list of the people that have posted in this thread, and when they joined Gamespot, in respective order from earliest to now. I am not including how long people have been members of OTB, as it is unreliable. There have been other unions, boards, threads, websites, etc. precluding this union. I hope you all enjoy this:
