underground basically equals independent for me. and yeah party music isnt an easy one to find in that genre, can i recommend some Lil Jon??? :D
Well now that I think about it... I guess check out Tha Alkaholiks or the Beatnuts. But still, they used to play that Beatnuts joint regularly on TV so that's still not exactly underground, just underrated.
The Pharcyde, The Alkaholiks, Redman, Camp Lo, Freestyle Fellowship. There are penty of party singles, and I'm sure people will post some in here, but for now there are some groups for you to check out if you haven't already.
Basically party rap mixed with electro and underground hip hop. It's kind of like 2 Live Crew (lyrically) meets more electronica driven beats. Pretty unique and fun to listen to.
