But one of the funnier ones I saw recently was his Amoeba "What's in My Bag" interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAdb7sX_g_E
what was their beef all about? I don't remember.TheHimura
I don't think anyone really knows.
why do rappers always have to pose for a picture together whenever they squash a beef now?DaDukies
Maybe to show it's official? Who knows..
I think that was what led to the Twitter feud (lol) but there were problems before then.Orlando_Magic
you mean 9th leaving the group because they didn't want him to produce every song for them?
I guess that would be one of the contributing things but I just remember hearing things about disagreements about various things going back to the Minstrel Show. However the Minstrel Show was the start of 9th not producing all the tracks on LB albums as well so maybe it was just that.
well remember at the time they were signed to atlantic and once the deal fell through they stopped working together really, so I think it might have to do with money, even if they deny that's the reason for it..WorstGameEveryou think 9th gets less cake when he produces less joints? or something else. because i totally see that being the issue.
like, the **** I look like being a part of this group when i'm not even getting paid to be in it and i'm not getting any shine time. it's like being regulated to U-God status on a Wu album.

well on a major you're usually given a budget so who knows how that was distributed, but really most of the beats were kept in camp, so it could have just been creative differences the whole time, because the concept of the album was kinda forced to begin with, because The Listening was a radio show, so they were probably forced to go with the tv concept by Atlantic, and it seems 9th is pretty stubborn when it comes to what kind of content should be over his beats (just look at the interviews with Murs about thier projects) so I can definitely see that as a major problem as well, but it's all speculation really so who really knows...Please Log In to post.
