Raekwon: "Kanye West and Jay-Z Have Lost Touch"

Rap superstars KANYE WEST and JAY-Z have lost touch with their original fanbase, according to WU-TANG clan star RAEKWON.
Raekwon claims they are missing out on a whole generation of hip-hop enthusiasts, because their wealth and success has alienated them from ordinary people.
He says, "A lot of street people don't put stock in them anymore because they aren't doing enough to excite anyone. (They should) Come back to the hood and drop $100,000."

He may not have the right to say it, but it's the truth. Jay and Kanye don't appeal to their original fanbase anymore, but not a lot of artists do nowadays.

Jay went back to his roots and tried to make AG more like Reasonable Doubt rather than his past albums. I don't know how else a rapper can try to connect with their original fanbase.

Prefered Graduation though, wasn't a huge fan of American Ganster.

Didn't like 8D, AG or Graduation.
