Getting through this at the moment, will listen to it more at the gym in a bit. Post thoughts later.

It's pretty dope so far though. I'm on 911...Hold Me Back is my jam. Anyone else copped this disc yet? I know most people here will considering how popular Teflon Don was.

About to check it out. Not really excited for this like I was for Teflon Don.

Andddd... the album is great. 8.5/10 on my first two listens. 2-3 tracks are kinda meh but I really liked everything else.

I don't really consider Rick Ross an exceptional rapper but he knows how to make good albums. Deeper Than Rap, Teflon Don, Rich Forever (basically an album) and now this. He's on a really hot streak right now.

I'm digging this LP. After this album,I can say that Ross stepped up his game lyrically instead of relying on guest features to save his tracks and keep a song live.

So many dope tracks.

Pirates, Ashamed, Sixteen, 911, So Sophisticated, Presidential, Ice Cold, Ten Jesus Prices. Ross stepped it up lyrically.

I hate Touch N You but whatever I understand why it's there. 3 Kings just also isn't very good no matter how much I want to like it. Still though this album is great. Not as replayable as Rich Forever for me but I appreciate what went into it. Amazing production and Ross really stepped it up here.

Maybach Music IV is most likely the most dispapointing **** ever though. You think on the album representing the culmination of his come up he'd have a posse cut with his crew, Meek, Wale, Stalley, etc.

Nope...Just Ne-Yo

Maybach Music IV is one of the doper tracks :| lol... I thought it was kinda refreshing for it to be just him. And that beat >>>>>>

I haven't liked Ne-yo in a while but he fit really well on that track imo.

He just dropped a whole album full of posse cuts with MMG, it's good that this album is mostly just him when it comes to the verses.

Maybach Music IV's beat was just a rehash...I wanted something a little more fresh and with his posse. Like Power Circle maybe cutting out Kendrick and Gunplay.

Eh. Ne-Yo's a bum though. He's the type of artist Def Jam gets YOU to put on your album and not the other way around. No reason for him to be on it.

Could say the same about MM 3 too, though.

There's not really a "reason" for Andre to be on the album, but it works lol. Ne-Yo worked just fine with that song.

Only guest I thought was out of place was Usher... and Dre I guess. 3 Kings was a waste of that Jay-Z feature.

Should have replaced Usher with Robin Thicke. Lay Back on DTR >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Jay-Z was the worst part of that song. His verse was whack. He sounded like he was tired from taking care of Blu Ivy or something.

I said the feature not the verse lol... A Free Mason 2 would have been dope.

I'd have liked to see a new John Legend track too. I didn't like the bonus tracks just being rehashes from Rich Forever with no changes.

I felt that the Jake One beat on 3 Kings too was almost like a bum version of a Just Blaze beat...You think if Ross could have gotten on that Lord Knows beat last year he coulda commissioned some work from him. I'm pretty sure Ross also did that 'Love My B****s' song with Blaze and that beat was monsterous. What a waste.

Word... As much as I like Triple Beam Dreams, it's kinda weak that he just tacked on the two of the three most popular songs off a mixtape he knows most of his fanbase has been bumping...

3 Kings was just a flop all over. Dre verse was wack, Ross verse was okay, hook was wack, Jay verse was underwhelming, beat was underwhelming. Good idea I guess, but it turned out really bad...
