Saturday was so sickkk

Now I know there aren't too many people here that are really into Del, so if you're not then ignore this.

Saturday Del was in Tallahassee performing at a club called the Beta Bar. The lineup was some young dude named Knobody, then the Coughee Brothers and Devin the Dude, and then Del and A+.

The highlight of the night was when two of my friends and I got to meet Del a while before the show. My friend Mike airbrushes clothes, and he made a shirt for Del, in hopes that we'd get to go backstage, and sure enough it worked. Patrick (Mike's rooommate) and I went up and told a guy who was apparently the road manager about mike, and he told us to go get him and bring the shirt.

We did, and he led us out the back door to some mini van, and opened the door, and sure enough it was Del just sitting there listening to music on his computer. We gave him dap, and pat tried to light up a joint with him, but Del was already holding one. He was speechless when he saw the shirt mike gave him though, and after looking over all the artwork on it he was like "daaammnn this **** is clean!" We talked to him for a little while more and then the manager ushered us away, and we went back into the show.

When it came to the performances the show was live as hell. Knobody was pretty tight, I am gonna look some of his stuff up soon, but it was Devin the Dude and Coughee brothers that really had the place goin. There stage presence was amazing and they kept the crowd hyped.

After their set del and A+ came back for an encore because the place kept chanting their names. They brought knobody out with them and just freestyled for like an extra 20 minutes. At one point A+ kept rhyming about how much he wanted some weed, so while he was freestylin I started packing a bowl and handed it to him in the middle of his rap. He stopped his flow, took a hit and passed it to knobody and del. After they got off the stage A+ was near the merchandise tables and he called me over and said he appreciated the bowl. It was so ****in tight.

The show was tight, so if anyone can catch del and devin the dude on this tour you should try to.

lol I'm actually going to see Del, Coughee Brothaz, and Devin The Dude this friday in Asheville and was literally just about to make a new thread asking if anyone had ever seen him live :) just curious...did he do any songs from 3030? and i'm guessing this depends on the venue, but were there a lot of people smoking during the show? my friends and I aren't sure if we should try to bring any into the show...but based on how much del, devin, and the coughee brothaz talk about weed i'm kinda just assuming it's gonna be a huge blazefest...is this right?DaDukies

You are gonna have a blast, man. All he did from 3030 was Virus, sorry to say. I wish he would've did more 3030 but the show was hype anyway. And you can definitely smoke during the show, but I don't know about the venue you're going to when it comes to security, but if you sneak it in you definitely got past the hard part.

He only did a couple of verses from a couple of songs, but we got to hear portions from every beat.
