I personally cant wait for this. I just hope it tops what hes been doing recently, If this is anything like Tha Carter 2 its going to be pretty dam good. But im still kinda hoping he takes it to the next level with this album, and really puts his all in to it.

Album Cover:

Image:Tha Carter 3.jpg

Not sure if this is accurate info: http://www.answers.com/topic/tha-carter-iii (it says that nas/jay z will be featured on here, which i highly doubt because of the pretty negative relationship between weezy and those 2)

Same kind of info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tha_Carter_III

There isnt a lot to be found on it ATM :?

Some sites say he plans to have it out by June, others say by September.

weezy is hot, ever since his first album dropped he has been getting better and better and on his new mixtape he is at the best level i have heard him - if the carter 3 can match his mixtape "the color of money" then weezy is gonna be dropping a classic.

Probally going to have to top most of what hes done so far, if he can makes an album with tracks like "Georgia Bush" and "Get over"...then this is most def gonna be a classic...but i think a few tracks like "Aint that a B****" are what he needs...songs like that are incredible with a flow like his.

No matter what he does, this is probally gonna be the album that he stops playing around on and actually puts everything he has in to. Ill be suprised if this isnt amazing.

i think he will deliver a classic, the south needs a rapper that is gonna talk about real stuff instead of dancing pop rappers and weezy is the guy to bring real stuff to us - being from the south there are only a few rappers that i actually really like from here and weezy is one of them - have ya'll heard his new mixtape?.

his albums are not as good as his mixtapes so why bring them up? All his mainstream records lately have been ass (the remix's and that album with Baby), the carter 3 will be average

the reason i bring up his new mixtape is because based on his new material this is gonna be crazy - expect this album to be very similar to his mixtape cause he said his flow on the mixtape is what he is taking over to his new album. weezy is gonna put out a record that will really make people outside of the south take notice to his flow.

flow is great and all, but if his lyrics are wack (like they have been on a lot of songs) then I don't really care about his flow. Dedication 2 was a great example of Weezy's flow, but it got very boring after a while because the lyrics were wack...if carter 3 has anymore lines like "I'm hot like light" then it's probably gonna be wack...even Carter 2 got stale because of the weak lyrics..

the carter 2 was dope, the thing i like though is he is always getting better - the track "i'm ridin" is some of the best lyrics and flow i have heard from weezy, he has his great flow as usual but the lyrics are just as good. i like his little punchlines, he throws one out on that track "i love weed so much i tried to marry juwanna" - i think things like this along with the quality of his new mixtape are gonna make the carter 3 a claasic album.

At the same time Wayne has a huge amount of wack lines that he has said on his mixtapes, albums, guest appearences...dude would have to stop that to release a classic and if his recent work is any indication, tha carter 3 is gonna have MORE of that, not less...the album will be average...

dude there are not many lines on his new mixtape that make me think "hw shouldn't have said that" - the carter 2 is thought by many to be a great album and his new stuff is an improvement over that - i expect hot beats, hot lyrics, his normal hot flow and in general a hot album - it is the most anticipated album for a reason and that is because wayne is improving all the time and this is gonna be fire.

Weezys lyrics are not weak, have u hear "Tha Mobb" ill lyrics, kid is just playing around with mcs...Your right fat, this probally will be average if he continues with what hes been doing, but i personally think hes gonna turn it around and make this album pure fire, and leave out all those whack lines.

i don't think he has to turn anything around, he has dope lyrics and i expect this album to be his best release yet of any album or mixtape. weezy's lyrics are hot when he really thinks about them and i think this album will contain tracks that all have well thought lyrics - mix that in with hot beats and his hot flow and you are looking at a monster.

you're talking about the Weezina mixtape right? He had plenty of wack lines on that mixtape...made me stop listening to it...it had some dope songs, but wack ish too..."I was rich when I was pissin on my self" "I got this *itch on lock like a closed door"...I could keep going...

I just hope he takes time to actually put some real lyrics down...I mean his flow is amazing, he just needs to mature a bit and put some real deep ish down. I mean he IS capable of it, hes done it on a looot of tracks (I miss my dawgs, Get over, Georgia Bush, Amen, I Like Dat, Receipt and so on...). Its just a matter of him taking this album more seriously. If he does, this is without a doubt gonna be a classic...

^yep he has classic songs in him and i think this will be where he really sits down and thinks about his lyrics and that is why i am looking forward to it. his flow is undeniable and if he takes his time and puts out lyrics that he is capable of then it will be a beast.

oh cool - you don't have to bother listening to the entire mixtape dude cause trust there are not many bad lines on it. i think no matter who you listen to though you will find a couple of questionable lines, jay has some, nas has some, pac had some and my favorite rapper of all time eminem has a few - weezy is really thinking about his rhymes now and i think that will make for a much more flawless album.

If Wayne always spit lyrics like this: "F*ck with me wrong I *uck with your home Like a letter to the wife Saying your husband is gone Like Muslims I'm clam But like Muslims I bomb And beat the track up Like a hundred arms I'm funky like underarms (this line gets the gas face) The engineers recording a thunder storm My hunger forms, then rings the alarms The Carter 2 was nice, but the third times a charm" I'd be more amped for it, but most of his recent ish has been "I'm on like the television" "I'm well respected lik a bearclaw" and ish like that...I still need to listen to Color of Money (it's download, will give it a spin after practice), but I'm not holding my breath

"I'm can say don't rhyme and it's gon' rhyme"

"Weezy F Baby, the mother****in Carter,
*****es on my stick and my name ain't Harry Potter"

"I spin 8 and put 2 up, cuz you never know when I have to do what
do when, do who, do you, and you too, and you too, wooohooo haha
now I'm cuckoo like birds with my words
I'm poopoo meaning I'm the **** on you turds"

"Dear. Mr. Toilet, I'm the ****"

There's some bad lines for you. I'm looking forward to the album though...

I like him and all and hes a pretty interesting guy, but none of his songs/albums really strike me, I'll probably still check out the album as I did his others. This album might be pretty good, because he is at the highest point in his career currently.

i think this is gonna be the best of weezy on this album, there are a lot of people that don't like him but that doesn't matter - he will be releasing an album for his fans not his haters. if you don't like him then don't listen to him it is that simple but for those who know how good he really is then this is gonna be dope.

listened to Color of Money...a lot of average ish...some wack lines...best songs are I'm Ridin' (best song from Wayne since Dedication 2) and The Show Me What You Got Remix (which i've heard like 100 times)...average mixtape overall, not a whole lot of wack ish (it's mos def present though), most of it's just average and boring...Hopefully Wayne uses beats like I'm Ridin and Show Me What You Got for his album, he blacks out on those...
