AOST4 is okay, but I think if it comes off as a good song, it's more because it's just so refreshing to see Outkast not making a terrible song, not so much of it being a great song in it's own right. And Orlando, it's not the 90's anymore, Outkast are never going to make the best song of the year anymore. I think it's just time to give up on them.

Anyways, point taken, but I just don't see how anyone could enjoy stuff like their garbage verse on "International Player's Anthem" .... their verses on there werent' good by anyone's standards, let alone cla.ssic Outkast.

And edit, just because I couldn't pass this up,both Common and Jayjust put out records trying to recall their sound in the 90's ... most rappers that have been at it since the 90's are still stuck in the 90's. Hell, even Outkast is in a sense; their last disaster of a record flopped so they've went back to rapping, and now they've made AOST4,another song in a series of songs they started in the 90's. No, that's not quite what I'm saying. I'm saying alot of people would probably think it's crazy for me to say "The Blue Carpet Treatment" is his best album over, say, "Doggystyle". But I think if anyone thinks "Doggystyle" is a classic album, it's mostly either for a couple classic singles it had ("Gin and Juice") or for it's impact on rap, not that it's an amazing consistent album. "The Blue Carpet Treatment" is, as far as I'm concerned, far and away Snoop's most consistently enjoyable album he's ever released, even if it doesn't really contain one or two songs that will go down in history as classics.

Doggystyle is much more than 2 songs. Lodi Dodi > any song on The Blue Carpet Treatment.longdongsilvr
