These are the things I found suprising about his list...

  • not one Geto Boys album
  • He ranked Lethal Injection and the Predator over Death Certificate
  • no Goodie Mob- Soul Food... the origin of the phrase "dirty south" was even from this album...
  • no Main Source- Breaking Atoms
  • no Run-DMC
  • no LL Cool J- Radio

But like I've been saying, Life After Death = best double album in hip-hop. Not All Eyez on Me or Wu-Tang Forever :)

He also can't spell, and didn't list which GZA album he thought was classic (although probably LS)

Mos Def- Black on Both Sides: Some of the "R-n-B" songs hurt it.

:|

He also put both Big Daddy Kane's best albums on the list that didn't make the cut. That's......kind of sad.........

Naw, Wu-Tang Forever was good but towards the end it got a bit boring....All Eyez on Me and Life After Death are both great albums....hard to pick which one is better but I'd lean to Life After Death even me being the bigger Pac fan

Btw, off topic, but am I the only one who bumps more Wu-Tang solo ish than their group stuff, dont get me wrong, I like 36 Chambers and Forever but I prefer OB4CL, Tical, Supreme Clientele, No Said Date, Liquid Swords, etc all over their group work.

OB4CL>Ironman=Tical>Supreme Clientele>Liquid Swords

Black-Demon

Ironman over Supreme Clientele!! LOL!!

But we all got our own opinions but Supreme Clientele Ghost was a lot more consistent and it actually felt like a Ghostface LP too...Ironman was solid but the production wasnt on point like SC and it felt like a group project too, too many guest apperances...but umm move Liquid Swords to the front please :)

I like SC,but it didn't attract my ears like Ironman did for some reason. I love the guest appearances,Raekwon outshined Ghost on Ironman IMO. "The Faster Blade","260","Winter Warz","Black Jesus","Assassination Day","Camay","Daytona 500",the ownage don't stop:)

True....some prefer that over SC cause it was a little bit more lyrical but Ghost was just a lot more consistent on SC so thats why more people like that one but I feel you...both clasics (cant spell it all out :() however

Ghost is the most consistent in the Wu

however, he isnt the best member

Not really...if anything he added to the dopeness of that track. And yes AEOM & LAD have filler tracks, but I would prefer those albums over Wu-Tang Forever.

Hop off your what?

Jeez dude, it's just the internet...why u trippin?

8Ball is a garbage ass rapper...therefore for him to make a classic is just . Maybe your opinions will actually mean something if you listen to hiphop outside the south. There's this rapper called Nas who made this awesome album called "Illmatic", I suggest you start off with that :).

dude,i got tons of east coast classic cd's. big pun,nas-illmatic,big-life after death an ready to die,raekwon-ob4cl,rza-liquid swords,wu tang-all they old cd's and solos etc etc. and 8Ball and MJG weren't garbage back in the day they actually spit storytellin rhymes that were dope. too bad they sold out. but yea i still bump lotta older east coast classics but i just feel southern music more. prolly cuz im from the south. and east coast ppl feel they rap the most. and west coast ppl feel they rap the most. that's just how it is. so i don't understand why you talk s*** after my post when you ain't even heard the records. least give them a chance before you judge somethin...
