***UPDATE! Game album to be a Concept album called DOC: The Diary of Compton***

Some pretty reliable rumors coming straight out of The Game's camp and exclusively to SOHH Left Coast right now: Dr. Dre and The Game are cool again and working on the Compton emcee's next album. More details to follow.

According to this inside source, Game's new album will not be called LAX, like it was reported last week, but will instead be called D.O.C: Diary of Compton. A concept album, it'll detail a single day in the life where the controversial emcee is murdered in the end, which may or may not symbolize his retirement. And yes, Dre will be producing songs on this album. Things change every day with this camp (and Game himself), but we'll keep ya updated.

There's no way we're seeing Detox in April. Maybe, maybe, at the end of 2008 but I doubt that. Dre's been pissing around with Detox for years now so I'll believe it when I see it.

One of the reasons I like DA more then Documentary is because of 50's great influence on Documentary, and if I hate 50 cent, naturally im not going to like his influence. Can somebody explain to me how The Games first album was better then his second? Maybe that fact that I couldnt stand him saying Dre, G-Unit, NWA, westside and etc. over and over again distracted me...MellowMight

I liked his lyrics and his flow a lot better on DA. And I enjoyed the production more overall due to the west coast sound it had.

Exective producers only do so much for a album and 50 oversees his own unless its Em or Dre.
