UPDATED: Kanye West Denies Airport Rant Rumors

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has reportedly made headlines once again after allegedly having a minor tantrum aboard a flight earlier this week.

According to reports, Yeezy argued with airline staffers about being placed in business class.

Kanye West is a finicky flier. A source said the rapper threw a fit at LAX Monday night on his way back to New York from the Grammys after he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first. "He wanted to be bumped up," says our witness. West and his aide were eventually moved to the better seats. A rep for Kanye -- who garnered widespread condemnation over his onstage outburst at last year's MTV awards as Taylor Swift accepted her award -- didn't get back to us. (New York Post)

It's hilarious when a celeb does stuff a normal human being does regular people think of it as whining. If you paid for something wouldn't you want to get it? Why does ye' get so much hate honestly?

If I got put in the wrong area I'd flip as well cause I paid a damn share of money for first class.

And also, a minor tantrum at the airport is commonplace. I mean I can't count how many pisses off plebes I walk by at the airport for even littler things like the prices and such. We live in North America, people complain about ish like this. Just cause it's Yeezy doesn't make it any worse or better but I understand where Kanye is coming from.

I pay for NBA League pass, and I can hardly afford it along with my phone bill and my car. Yesterday, I couldn't watch the Laker game because League Pass in my area was having technical difficulites. Like I said, I can hardly afford to pay for this service as it is, and yes, I was mad that I missed the game because of it. Did I throw a tantrum like a 3 year old? Not at all. Sometimes you don't always get what you want.

It's not that I have anything against Kanye's music. I didn't like 808's and Heatbreaks, but I dug a lot of his other material. It's his personality that gets to me. He comes off as an ass.

Halftime maybe you're just a chill guy but if I was in your situation and it wasn't working I'd raise hell at technical support. Ish like that isn't supposed to happen and if you don't fight it it'll repeat. If someone wants to run a business, they better do it right and the consumer has to tell them that.

Customer is always right. 

And also, how are we to gauge how badly Kanye had a tantrum. A mild tantrum could just be Kanye saying 'this is bull' which would be true. It's not like he stomped on the ground and whined and cried cause that'd be a major tantrum.

I think everyones blowing this out of porportion. It's not even newsworthy but because it's Kanye it has to be posted.

Agreed. And I don't really know what I believe happened (I was really just saying that to emphasize his douchiness), but more importantly I don't really care. I guess I'd like to think it did though, because it humors me. At this point, I'm just interested in seeing what new ways he finds to make an ass out of himself in public, just based on how creative he's gotten with it so far.
