I personally think he's garbage when it comes to everything related to hip hop. His style is so whack compared to other rappers out in the game. The persona that he portrays is so corny. I get tired of hearing "crack da don" or "cook, coke, crack" (I'm not even sure if this is what he says in terms of the second quote) in almost every song he has.

I also think his flow is ass. He doesn't have a good voice to start off with. Some rappers can't spit for **** but their voice can sometimes carry them. Diddy would be a perfect example. His lyrics are too generic and outdated and I also feel that he doesn't have the versatility like other rappers. Busta and Eminem are great at switching up their styles on the fly. Fat Joe just can't do that

I all honesty, I wish 50 Cent did the same thing to Fat Joe like he did with Ja Rule, killed his career by getting at him more. What do you guys have to say about this?

Make It Rain was ok. Lean Back aint bad either, but its not really him who brings those tracks to the fore front.

D.I.T.C. is one of the illest supergroups ever. Fat Joe was great back in the early - mid nineties. Terror Squad just broke his style.

Yeah, his first album is a classic, and his second album was pretty good too. However, have you guys actually listened to his last album? I have to say, I wasn't expecting anything at all, but it was probably the biggest surprise of '06 ... the album was pretty much great from start to finish, I think there were only maybe two songs on there that I'd call filler. I'm guessing Atlantic is giving him more creative control (hell, they don't even put their name anywhere on the package ... it looks like an indie record).

I heard he stepped it up lyrically on the album and the internet hype for the record was decent, but I never checked it out for some reason :?

The beats are alright on his new album but he still sucks lyricly. I wish i could get a refund. The only worth while tracks are "make it rain" and "breathe and stop".

I really hate to say this, because "The Blueprint" has reached something of an untouchable status, but whenever I listened to the album I always thought it sounded like Fat Joe trying to make his own "The Blueprint". Lots of sample-based beats that wouldn't have sounded out of place on "The Blueprint", and even if the album might sound kinda linear on first listen, it's actually a pretty diverse album (I especially enjoy the introspective stuff at the end, tho). I definetely never seen this album coming, and it's definetely the best thing he's done since his first two albums ... by far.

Yeah, "Breath and Stop" was a dope track. Sampling War ain't nothing new, but I can't front; I like that beat ... and you even get to hear Game spit a good verse, so there's that too.
