You also know that J-Live just released his new album and it's out in stores!

Yep, I heard that one of the radio a while back, and it's great. However, pretty much every review I've read on the album has been bad (saying it's weak compared to his other joints), so I'm gonna hold off on buying this one, at least until I get my other stuff I want to buy out of the way, and maybe I'll be able to pick it up on a bargain by that point.

Hmm, I don't know much about rapreviews. haha, I don't think I actually get many of my rap reviews from rap sources, most of them are indie rock zines and sites.

I dunno, I would read a rap-centric zine or site if I found a good one, but oddly enough it seems none of them are quite as good as the indie rock zines and websites that also cover rap. I guess I just share that logic ... I don't just like one genre, I love tons of music genres, and I just want to hear the best from each genre, and lots of indie rock zines seem to be pretty good at finding the best.

Yeah, I guess not, to a certain extent. With most genres, I'm mostly into the newer, current stuff; rap is really the only genre that I buy both the new stuff and collect the old stuff as well. But, still, most indie rock publications (I should use the word "rock" loosely; most of them cover the whole spectrum of indie music, from alt. country to emo to electronica to whatever; anything indie and exciting) are really just on the lookout for anyone doing something new and creative, and doing it for the love of music, whatever genre it may be, and that's pretty much what I'm all about.
