Here are ten signs that you might be sleep-deprived:

1.You fall asleep immediately

2.More impulsive than usual

3. Using more clichés while talking than you normally do (a sign of mental exhaustion)

4. You're forgetful

5. You're hungrier than usual (because of a change in the balance of the hormones leptin and ghrelin)

6. Can't concentrate, reading the same sentence twice

7. Clumsiness

8. Fighting with your partner.

9. zoning out

10. Falling asleep in dark environments during the day.

So do any of you guys feel any of theses signs? Do you think you're sleep-deprived?

Numbers 4 & 7 are me all the time, so can't really go by those two. I get plenty of sleep though - usually around 8 hours a night. I'm always tired when waking up, but I always feel like I can be more productive than just lying there, so I get up early even though I don't have to

Yeah, I could see how some people might normally be forgetful or clumsy. I guess the issue could be if you are more forgetful or clumsy than normal.

For a few years, I couldn't stay awake in the mornings during class. I didn't start to function until the evenings. I managed to get into a good sleeping routine this past year, but I'm waking up later and later now that I'm off work. 24 hours just doesn't seem to work for me. I'll sleep naturally for around 10 hours. And 14 hours awake won't make me tired.
