Oh no, we're all going to die, run for the hills and all that nonsense. OOooo, doughnuts! We've got more of a chance of seeing the COD series be canceled and ended and EA get over their obsession with marketing to the COD/Halo crowd than in the world ending in a few months.

Where do people get the WORLD WILL END stuff? Ive heard much about this hype but it was always interpreted as The end of the world as we know it. Such as the change in our economic systems, the revealing of new technology and energy, heightened awareness and transparency of governments due to the collective empowerment and commitment of the people. Ive read/seen nothing about the end of humanity or the world. I guess if they get enough people to believe that they will bring this into their reality. Actually, I find it all intriguing as well as inspirational. Just like a good movie or book, its all entertainment meant to stimulate the mind. But the media and some people are just taking this thing way too far.

It never suggests any of that :| For the Mayan calender, Dec 21'st is like our December 31'st, it's the end of their calender. Like us, they simply change one digit (we record years differently, they record full cycles of the long count) and begin from the first day of their calender. The whole thing about DNA altering, is on par with the non-sense Stichen publishes. I'm almost certain it is Stichen seeing as you mentioned Sumerian tablets... Well even his peers acknowledge that he doesn't translate, he simply picks and chooses meanings (if a word or symbol has two or three possible meanings, he'd pick the more exiting on that fits in his context, rather than the most likely translation.)

I agree with what you say about Stichen, but this info is more wide spread then you may know. I can't speak on it's authenticity, because in different parties and on various levels the story changes. But it is some really good reading material if you're not into reading the more obvious Sci-fy novels.

I agree with what you say about Stichen, but this info is more wide spread then you may know. I can't speak on it's authenticity, because in different parties and on various levels the story changes. But it is some really good reading material if you're not into reading the more obvious Sci-fy novels.

Oh absolutely, they're quite interesting if you're into sci-fi (it's why i know about Stichen's Sumerian BS after all :P) Just clarifying that Stichen's work isn't grounded in reality, and he's not openly supported by anyone credible in the field. For the most part I find them awesome, but the 500,000,000 worries me a bit. Sometimes I can't help to think that the leaders of the world is playing into this by creating wars and poverty. The fact that it's written in other languages (Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs) leads me into thinking this way. It feels like the average citizen in the world are just pawns in this sick game of control.

For the most part I find them awesome, but the 500,000,000 worries me a bit. Sometimes I can't help to think that the leaders of the world is playing into this by creating wars and poverty. The fact that it's written in other languages (Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs) leads me into thinking this way. It feels like the average citizen in the world are just pawns in this sick game of control.

We are pawns in a sick game of control look how the world functions look how money functions it is all a sick game of power and control.
