1000 Hamsters vs Grizzly Bear

Alright so this is the situation:

-It's a clear day with the sun shining

-it's a flat open terrain

-there is little food left, both sides are reaallyyy hungry, so the hamsters decide to eat the bear while the bear decides to eat the hamsters

-both sides will fight to the death, no retreat

So who would win the fight?

1000 hamsters

or a grizzly bear

?

The bear could just roll over and kill them all.

I have seen ants capture and kill a bird. The scale is different but the size differences roughly similar.

That bear can easily decimate 1000 hamsters if they all line up and walk past it, but all at once? One thousand nibbles in unprotected places, 1000 micro-Judo chops to the throat and groin? If the bear is swarmed it might jump in a lake and drown a few hundred (can hamsters swim?) ...

I dunno. I'm gonna go with the Spanish Inquisition ... cuz nobody expe ...

If hamsters have read Sun Tzu's Art of War they win hands down

Let's put this into perspective. A grizzly bear has no problem walking up to a bee hive, tearing the hive right open, and getting the honey while being attacked by 5000 bees.

And bees are a lot scarier and more badass than hamsters.

The hamsters don't stand a ****ing chance.

Just roll over and crush them? Pfft. Even a grizzly can't roll over a thousand hampsters in one roll. Unless they formed some kind of hampster pyramid...in which case those are clearly some well coordinated hampsters and the grizzly is screwed anyway.

I'd definitely put money down on the hampsters.

I imagine the Grizzly Bear would crush them all.

I'll root for the underdog until the end, but I think the bear takes the cake this time. Poor hamsters =(
