Yeah good to hear he would return it as well alot of people would keep the money, but good to see someone doing a good deed.
He was probably just in it for the badges. There's always a motive.

You can't say things like that man. What if the boy really had a honest intention? You never know.

Boy Scouts operate for badges and badges alone. They're a crafty lot, those sneaky Scouts. You think "oh, look at that nice young lad serving his community la de da de da." I see through them, though. I see that "nice young lad" is actually using the community to satisfy his twisted badge obsession.
yeah us good old Boy Scouts... it is a reminder that we have to do a good deed daily... Eagle Scout right here speaking!CyleMAHA Oleg is right. It's compulsory!
Yeah maybe you are right. I mean, those boys dedicate their lives to getting badges so its quite obvious that he did that just to get a badge. I mean, they have no moral value at all, right? Everything they do is for the badge. Right?
Have you seen the Eagle Scout badges?[QUOTE="AltairJohnson"]

! :P
Good to see there are parents out there who are bringing their children up right.Big_Bad_Sad
My thoughts exactly. Good to see parents teaching the right values.
Wow, that's even more impressive when you consider that in little kid money that's like 2 million dollars. :o
What a moron
Maybe that's mean but I highly doubt any of us would turn in $2,000. Don't even try that "what if it happened to you" garbage. Here's a tip, don't carry 2 grand in your wallet.
[QUOTE="ryrulez"]Did part of the wallet lead to Narnia? How the hell do you miss $1,900?Ontainhaving been asked to find items in my wife's purse i can understand completely. Yeah, this. It's not even easy to find big things. I've told her that any time she asks me to find something, it will result in me dumping the contents out to assist in finding whatever it is she seeks. She has since stopped asking for things from the purse, and just asks for the whole purse itself.

Who carries that much money around, seriously? It was probably a high-class prostitute's purse...
pdevil21
She must've been Donald Trumps prostitute... Thats alot of money!
I would honestly kept the $2000, and returned the purse saying the thief must have took all the money. I could seriously use that right now to pay off some bills....GTA_dude
He gave $40 of it to his mother and spent the other $60 on a Carolina Panthers jersey. - Why did he give 40 to his mother?Jandurinclearly he's a good boy.

the tougher question would be if your child came to you with the purse he found we you call the police (do the right thing as an example to him/her) or keep the money?
Ontain
Easy answer: Ask yourself that question while looking at the trusting eyes of your son.:P

i thought the article said her purse was jacked from her car?Keep it! To teach the kid not to carry $2,000 around and if so, don't LOSE IT. That's the part that gets me, unless you're obscenely rich you just don't lose two thousand dollars.
