Does he not know this is exactly why they include drunk driving in GTA IV? So you don't have to do it in real life. >_>

Wait...is that Jack Thompson I hear? hold on guys...I can hear him saying 'Ban Grand Theft Auto V...NOW!'
.08 BAC is the Yank limit for drunk driving. I can drive quite well on over twice that in the UK, but the draconian Yanks have their statutes and primitive limitations...your loss...
The only reason why boozing and driving is so explicitly related in the US is because it is impossible to be mobile-bound in the US without an automobile- an issue which does not affect most Europeans. Public transportation is well established and reliable across Europe, but in the US it is a haphazard affair. Unreliable at best, and assumed as poor trash transport as opposed to general transport as it is in Europe and many other parts of the world.
[QUOTE="th3warr1or"]Oh god.. now people are gonna fight to ban GTA again. coolkid93I agree with what you said. As soon as someone does something like that, they try to ban the gta.
They are going to blame global warming on GTA now as well.

On topic though, That'll land him some trouble.[QUOTE="psychobrew"]It's going to be a long time before he drives again. What's up with the difference in legal blood alcohol levels between thos under 21 and those over? I mean, if you're blood alcohol is high enough to impare your ability to drive, it's high enough to impare it no matter how old you are.I_Build_CoffinsIt makes sense cause at 21 you can legally drink, so you could have a drink and wait an hour or two then drive. I think it's just their way of making it harsher on young drunk drivers. I'm in Canada though so dunno for sure, I'd imagine ours is the same since you can drive at 16 here and, in my province, drink at 18 Still, it's a double standard. It's like many people think teenagers are the devil and go way too far in the form of punishment. Kids are going to make mistakes, but most will realize what they are doing is wrong and go on to live productive lives. Society here seems to think they are unable to change and want them to suffer forever, at the same time preventing them from integrating with society. It makes me sick to see how extreme we're getting in blaming kids for societies' problems. Kids should be able to be kids. I'm not saying let them drink and drive, but in general. Learning from your mistakes is a part of growing up and our court systems care more about screwing people than helping them realize the error of their ways. It's like we now believe people are inherently evil, which is absolutely wrong.
