KiIIyou
Hero. Now if all of us could be as courageous as him lol
Not everybody has rapers stopping by. ;pWhat would you do if a rapist stops by? :P
I'll rape him if possible lol
Is anyone else extremely disturbed by the casualness of this whole scenario?MetalDogGear
I am not sure if I would say disturbed. But I find it strange that he would post his last "words" on Facebook.
and maybe the kid has killed a prostitute or few on GTA IVI bet you he plays violent video games.

I thought you had to have a bunch of guns to defend your home from Criminals?Nuck81If Ramsey had gotten in that knife wouldn't have done much in the hands of a 14 year old lol

Even if they just hold it out, you're taking damage.

But described as a "Hunting" Knife.

Uhh a gun is just as easy to use as a knife. Do you assume 14 year olds are mentally handicapped or something and can't figure stuff out on their own until they're older?

No, I do think that a typical 14-year-old could learn how to use a firearm. However, I think it's reasonable to assume that most of them don't know how to use one. In particular, they may know how to pull the trigger, but I'm sure that without proper training they can easily shoot themselves on accident. Or they'll have no idea how to reload it properly or mutilate their fingers with the hammer (if it's a pistol of some kind).. Of course, you can also kill yourself accidentally with a knife, but knives are far easier to use.[QUOTE="Vickman178"][QUOTE="ghoklebutter"] Neither would a gun, since most 14-year-olds probably don't know how to use any firearm.ghoklebutter

I'm amazed at the people that try and pull the trigger without taking the safety off and then look down the barrel of the gun as if there were something wrong with it. Idiots.[QUOTE="ghoklebutter"][QUOTE="Vickman178"]No, I do think that a typical 14-year-old could learn how to use a firearm. Wonder if the average 14 year old would expect the recoil if not: lol I went to a firing range when I was 14, and I didn't expect the severity of the recoil when I shot that pistol. Quite a surprise. Needless to say, my performance was abysmal because of not knowing how to handle the recoil. I mean, I did expect a recoil, but I thought the recoil would be as small as it seems in the movies (i.e. your wrist just moves a bit while you maintain perfect aim).Uhh a gun is just as easy to use as a knife. MrPraline
The situation could of been handled better given an AR-15. Fightingfanhey man thats a little extreme dont you think? A shot gun is more age appropriate and family friendly in an american house hold
He was brave.
But is it true that most people would just tell her to get off their porch or something like that?
Monica Johnson is an idiotJML897
I wouldn't say she is an idiot. I would just say it is hard to look at someone you know and care about and see them as a monster, especially so soon after.
He was brave.

I think it's true. People barely pay attention to women screaming in public places because they "Don't want to get involved."The boy said that the woman sounded like she was going to die any second. Given that information, I'm certain that most people would take her in. Now, if her situation didn't seem nearly as desperate, she probably would have been told to fvck off.He was brave.

To say that he "fended off the rapist" conjures images of him standing toe-to-toe with a gun wielding rapist while armed with only a knife. But nothing of the sort happened. He just let the woman in, locked the door and grabbed the knife in case the man managed to breach the door.
I don't dispute that he saved the woman's life by admitting her to his parents' home, but the title is misleading nonetheless.
In fact it's questionable whether he even acted prudently, let alone heroically ...
What if the "screaming rape victim" scenario had been a ruse? What if the woman had been a "Trojan Horse" accomplice in a home invasion? In that case, the kid's heroic good intentions would probably have cost him his own life and that of his young sister.
:(
I wanted to make the title more accurate, but that would require me to go over the character limit for the title. >_>To say that he "fended off the rapist" conjures images of him standing toe-to-toe with a gun wielding rapist while armed with only a knife.
