The reason of this case was that the girl was in a small countryside area that is still very traditional and is ruled by village-like law. Rape occurs in morocco like it does in every country and this isn't the outcome of every rape. Its only when these small rare incidents happen that everyone starts bashing religion and thinks that they know everything because they watched 1 news story.
